01 · ONE APP

Three views.
One team.

Cross country isn't just runners. It's coaches calling the workout and parents at the finish line. GoXC has a view for each, all sharing the same season.

For Athletes

mile.

02 · KIT

Everything Cross Country.

A fitness app is a data dump. A group chat is a mess. GoXC is built for the way a high school cross country season actually runs. Workouts on the board, miles on the log, a meet every weekend.

F·01

Training log

Pace, splits, notes, terrain. Manual or auto-imported. Every run accountable to the week.

F·02

Team feed

See your teammates' runs, kudos them, comment. Quiet by default. No algorithm, no strangers.

F·03

Coach workouts

Tuesday: 6×800m @ 5K pace. Posted to the whole roster, tickable as athletes finish each rep.

F·04

Season goals

Mileage target, race goal, PR target. Track the season the way a coach plans it. Not the way a fitness app does.

F·05

Race calendar

Meets, start times, courses, splits. Pinned for parents, primed for athletes the day-of.

F·06

Apple Watch sync

Sync runs from your watch automatically. Or log by hand with notes. Both count the same.

03 · TRAINING

Made for the way
you actually train.

Just the things a cross country athlete actually tracks. Pace, splits, terrain, feel, and the weekly load that gets you to the line ready.

  • Tempo, intervals, recovery, long run. The workout types every coach already uses.
  • Streaks, weekly bars, mileage progression. The data that actually motivates the next run.
  • Notes that aren't a chore. "Knee felt good, opened up at mile 3" is one tap, not a form.

The group chat
your coach actually wants.

The team feed is quiet by design. No algorithm, no ads, no strangers. Just your roster, your coach's posts, and the runs that happened today.

  • Private to your team. Coach controls who joins via a team code.
  • Workouts post once. No more screenshotting the whiteboard into 14 group texts.

05 · MEET DAY

Track PRs, and
make new ones.

Meets get their own surface. Pin the start time, see the course map, check the start list, log the result. Then watch the season PR roll over.

  • Race day mode. Quiet feed, big times, easy splits entry.
  • Season PRs tracked automatically. 5K, 3K, 1600, 800. Personal records the second they happen.
  • Parents in the loop. Start times, course map, results pushed when the gun goes off.

01 · HOW IT STARTED

Built by runners.

In 1999, Trent and Parker ran together for Bingham High School in Utah. They were teammates, and best friends, who dragged each other through every workout, interval, and even carpooled daily to the early morning runs.

Life pulled them in different directions, but they stayed in touch and close friends. Years later Trent moved back to Utah, and with their kids being similar ages, they ended up running on the same high school team in Utah County. Just like that, Trent and Parker were back at the finish line with a stopwatch… only now they were cheering on their own kids.

While trying to keep up with all of the kids’ schedules, workouts, PRs, communications, etc… it was obvious that the athletes needed something to keep it all organized. So the two dads built a little app to help their kids log their miles and watch themselves get faster.

06 · QUESTIONS

Common questions.

If your team has a question that isn't here, email us. Coaches: we'll set up your roster for free.

Is GoXC free?

Yes. Free for athletes, free for parents, free for coaches running a single team. We offer a paid tier for athletic departments running multiple teams that adds admin tools, district reports, and SSO.

Does it work with Apple Watch?

Yes. Connect once and your runs sync automatically. You can still log by hand for treadmill miles, recovery walks, or any run that didn't make it onto the watch.

How do parents get added?

Your athlete invites you with a code. You get a quiet, view only window into their training and meets. No feed, no kudos, no pressure. Athletes are always in control of what's shared.

What about privacy?

Team feeds are private by default. Only invited teammates can see them. We don't sell data, we don't show ads, and minor accounts ship with strict defaults that need parent approval to open up.

Is it just for cross country?

The product is shaped for cross country and distance track. It works fine for a runner in any sport, but if you're not running pavement, trails, or a track, it's not really what we built.

Can I switch teams or graduate?

Yes. Your log is yours forever. Switch schools, finish high school, keep running into college. Your team affiliation is just a tag for the current season.
